Division System
Legends of Elysium employs a unique division system to ensure fair and balanced gameplay. This system is designed to match players of similar skill levels, regardless of their current weekly league ranking.
Division Tiers
There are six division tiers in Legends of Elysium:
- Iron
- Bronze
- Silver
- Gold
- Platinum
- Diamond
Division | Description |
Iron | The lowest rank for new players. |
Bronze | A rank for players who are starting to improve their skills. |
Silver | A rank for players with moderate skill levels. |
Gold | A rank for players with strong skills and consistent performance. |
Platinum | A rank for highly skilled players who excel in the game. |
Diamond | The highest rank, reserved for the top-tier players. |
These ranks are assigned based on a player’s all-time performance, which is a comprehensive evaluation of their overall gameplay over time. This system prevents new players from being immediately pitted against seasoned veterans.
How Divisions Work
- Initial Placement: All new players start in the Iron rank.
- Skill-Based Matchmaking: The system matches players based on their division, rather than their current weekly league ranking. This ensures that players of similar skill levels are paired together.
- Division Progression: As players improve their all-time performance, they can climb through the ranks to a higher division.
Matchmaking Restrictions
- Rank-Based Matchmaking: Players can only be matched against opponents of the same rank or one rank higher or lower. For example, a Gold player can only be matched against Gold, Silver, or Platinum players.
- Divisional Barriers: This system prevents players from being matched against opponents who are significantly more experienced or less skilled.
Legends of Elysium’s division system is a key component of its fair and balanced gameplay. By matching players based on their overall skill level, the game ensures that everyone has a fair chance to compete and enjoy the game.
